On Thursday, the NBA announced the three finalists for the 2020-21 Most Valuable Player award, including one member of the Golden State Warriors. Steph Curry will join Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic and Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Emibiid as finalists for the 2020-21 edition of the MVP.
During the 2020-21 season, Curry earned the scoring title, averaging 32 points per game on 48.2% shooting from the field. The seven-time All-Star guard has helped carry the Warriors to a spot in the Western Conference play in-game, scoring 30 or more points in 21 of the final 24 games down the stretch.

The 33-year-old guard is coming off Western Conference Player of the Month awards in both April in May. Since April, Curry is averaging 37.1 points per contest on 49.3% shooting from the field and 43.7% shooting from beyond the arc with 5.7 rebounds and five assists per contest.
Along with leading the league in scoring, Curry leads the association in 3-pointers made per game with 5.3 per contest. The Davidson product also ranks in the top-10 in 3-point shooting percentage with 45%. During the 2020-21 campaign, Curry has drilled 10 or more 3-pointers in seven different games.
Curry will have the chance to build his case for the MVP award on Friday night in the final Western Conference play-in game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
