Warriors players and coaches react to Draymond Green’s fiery night vs. Pelicans

Steve Kerr says Draymond Green ‘willed’ the Warriors to a crucial come-from-behind victory.

The Golden State Warriors trailed by as many as 20 points in the second quarter on Tuesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans, but Draymond Green changed the attitude of the team and Steph Curry took over in the second half to lead the Warriors to a 120-109 win.

Green received a technical and a flagrant 1 foul following a hard collision with Brandon Ingram late in the second quarter, and just a few moments later clashed with Herbert Jones. Green was incensed, but the Warriors fed off that energy, outscoring the Pelicans by 13 in the third quarter and 15 in the fourth.

The victory kept the Warriors in sixth place in the Western Conference standings, a half-game ahead of the Timberwolves.

Here’s what players and coach Steve Kerr had to say about Green following the win.
