Warriors left out of NBA Finals predictions in 2024 GM survey

The Golden State Warriors didn’t receive a single vote to win the 2024 NBA Finals in the latest NBA GM Survey.

Before each new season gets underway, NBA.com rounds up different NBA general managers for an annual survey filled with different questions about the upcoming campaign.

The first question on the survey is a prediction for the 2024 NBA Finals. While the Boston Celtics. Denver Nuggets, Milwaukee Bucks. Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers all received votes, the Golden State Warriors were left off the list.

Coming off a title run in 2022, the Warriors placed second in championship predictions in last year’s GM Survey, receiving 25% of the votes. However, an up-and-down regular season that led to a second-round exit from the 2023 postseason leaves the Warriors off the GM survey for championship predictions for 2024.

After losing to the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the 2023 NBA postseason, the Warriors shook up their roster in the offseason with the addition of veteran point guard Chris Paul in a trade that included Jordan Poole.

The Warriors will open the season on Oct. 24 against Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, Bradley Beal and the Suns on the opening night of the NBA season.
