The 150th running of the race came down to the wire with a thrilling photo finish involving three horses. Underdog horse Mystik Dan barely edged one of the favorites, Sierra Leone, by a nose to win. Forever Young ran third by a nose as well.

In a two weeks, Mystik Dan will have the chance to compete for the second leg of horse-racing’s Triple Crown in Baltimore. The Preakness Stakes is held at Pimlico Race Course. The final jewel of the Triple Crown is the Belmont Stakes on June 8 at Belmont Park in Elmont, New York.
