Warriors’ Draymond Green offers blunt assessment of how he played in Game 3 vs. Celtics

When asked about his performance in Game 3 against the Celtics, Draymond Green didn’t hold back with a blunt assessment.

As boos and different expletive-laced chants reigned down towards Draymond Green at Boston’s TD Garden, the Golden State Warriors All-Star forward’s performance on the court added fuel to the fire.

Before fouling out with four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Green registered a quiet two points on 1-of-4 shooting from the field with two missed 3-pointers. Green added four rebounds, three assists and a block in 35 minutes.

Following Game 3, Green didn’t hold back when it came to assessing his performance during Golden State’s 116-100 loss to Boston. When asked about how he played in Game 3, Green had a blunt response.

Through the first three games of the NBA Finals, Green is averaging five points on 26.3% shooting from the floor with 6.7 rebounds, five assists and a steal in 35.9 minutes per contest.

Trailing 2-1 in NBA Finals, the Warriors will need Green to bounce back to his All-Star level caliber of play to have a chance of evening the series in Game 4 on Friday night.
