During the Golden State Warriors’ current road trip, a pair of injured veterans joined the team for practice in Dallas. After the Warriors started their four-game road swing with a loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves, Klay Thompson (general illness) and Draymond Green (disc/back) joined the Warriors on the road before they met the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.
While Thompson was slated to re-join the Warriors on the floor in Dallas, there’s still no set timetable for Green’s return to the court. The four-time All-Star has missed the last 22 games for the Warriors with a disc/back injury.
While there’s no target for his return, Green is making progress with his rehab. While in Dallas, the former Defensive Player of the Year joined the Warriors for a 3-on-3 scrimmage at practice. Green also went through a shooting routine after practice in Dallas.
