After missing two games due to an ankle injury, Sunday will mark the return of Draymond Green to the Golden State Warriors’ rotation. Green missed every preseason game for the Warriors along with most of training camp due to his ankle injury.
After splitting two games with with a loss to the Phoenix Suns and a win against the Sacramento Kings, the Warriors will welcome Green back to the lineup on Sunday against the Houston Rockets.
However, the Warriors will likely be cautious when it comes to welcoming back Green to the rotation. According to Steve Kerr, the former Defensive Player of the Year will be on a minutes restriction on Sunday night.

Draymond Green will be on a minutes restriction tonight in Houston, but Kerr did not reveal if he will start or not.
Stephen Curry will play. Warriors are hopeful that Jonathan Kuminga will play as well.

The starting lineup has yet to be determined, whether it’s Green or Chris Paul on the court to start against the Rockets. Paul has started the first two games of the season with Green out.
The Warriors will meet the Rockets on the first leg of a road back-to-back on Sunday night at 4 p.m. PT in Houston.
