For the first time in the 2020-21 campaign, the Golden State Warriors are riding a three-game winning streak. Yet, extending their victorious run to four games isn’t going to be easy.

On Sunday, the Warriors will travel to Hollywood for a primetime battle with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. As the Warriors recently saw James Wiseman and Kevon Looney’s return to the rotation, the Lakers are dealing a pivotal injury of their own. All-Star Anthony Davis has been sidelined for the Lakers’ last six games with a calf strain and Achilles tendinosis in his right leg.

Without Davis in the lineup, the Lakers have struggled, dropping four of their last five contests. However, with James in the rotation, along with Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schroeder, the Warriors can’t take the depleted Lakers lightly.

To push their win streak to four games, the Warriors will need Draymond Green to build off his career performance against the Charlotte Hornets from Friday. The former Defensive Player of the Year notched a triple-double with 11 points, 12 rebounds and a career-high 19 assists in Golden State’s 130-121 win at Chase Center.
