When the Golden State Warriors acquired Andrew Wiggins via trade, he was seen as a potential draft bust who wasn’t living up to his first overall selection. However, since playing under Steve Kerr and being surrounded by a championship mentality, Wiggins has developed into one of the best three-and-D wings in the NBA.
Wiggins is at his best when operating as a point-of-attack defender on the perimeter and has proven capable of locking down some of the league’s premier offensive talent. As such, Bleacher Report’s staff writers have positioned Wiggins as the 13th-best wing in the league.
Interestingly, Wiggins is one spot behind rumored target O.G. Anunoby, who was voted 14th and three behind 2023 Rookie of the Year Paolo Banchero. The current Team USA standout was ranked 11th by Bleacher Report.
These rankings come hot on the heels of Bleacher Report’s top-30 guards; Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Chris Paul made that list.
