Following James Wiseman and Nico Mannion, another member of the Golden State Warriors 2020 rookie class recently made his professional debut. On Friday, Golden State’s second-round pick Justinian Jessup was on the court for the Illawarra Hawks’ season opener in the NBL.
In his professional debut, Jessup tallied five points for the Hawks on 2-of-6 shooting from the field with four rebounds in 26 minutes off the bench against the Brisbane Bullets. Jessup drilled one triple on four attempts from beyond the arc in Ilawarr’s 90-84 victory.
Jessup’s first bucket came on an Illawarra fastbreak. The Boise State product finished a transition layup in the lane.
