It was only a matter of time before the Atlanta Falcons faced some adversity this season, and it undoubtedly arrived in Week 3. The team dropped to 2-1 following Sunday’s 20-6 loss to the Detroit Lions.
Atlanta had a tough all-around performance. The offensive line struggled with run blocking and pass protection, allowing seven sacks and failing to open the holes we’re used to seeing.
Quarterback Desmond Ridder was underwhelming, the defensive line didn’t force a single sack and Falcons head coach Arthur Smith didn’t have his best day calling plays.
Since our weekly Player of the Game poll didn’t feel appropriate, we’re asking readers to select the player (or coach) they feel deserves the most blame for Sunday’s loss.
