Tuesday is Election Day in the United States, but it’s also the NFL’s trade deadline. The Green Bay Packers, like the American voters, have a decision to make: trade, or not to trade?
GM Brian Gutekunst has some options. He could swing a deal for a wide receiver, bolstering the offense with another weapon for a potential title run. He could look to add to the defense, possibly with a defensive lineman or linebacker. He could go all in, adding an offensive playmaker and a veteran defender. He could do nothing, and hope his team is good enough to get to the Super Bowl. He could also sell, potentially helping him keep his team together past 2020.
We broke down all of the Packers’ options here.
First, if you haven’t already, go vote. Democracy depends on individual citizens expressing their voice via votes. Once you’re done, come back and vote on our poll below.
