Vonn Bell comments on JuJu Smith-Schuster’s logo dancing ahead of Steelers vs. Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals safety had something to say about Pittsburgh Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster.

The Cincinnati Bengals know more antics could be on the way from Pittsburgh Steelers wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster.

Smith-Schuster is a target of Bengals fans for plenty of reasons, though his habitual pre-game dances on an opponent’s logo for the sake of social media impressions have earned the ire of opponents in recent weeks.

The Buffalo Bills, for example, used that pregame dancing as motivation while beating the Steelers.

Bengals safety Vonn Bell shared his thoughts on it before the Bengals host the Steelers on Monday night, according to ESPN’s Ben Baby:

“It’s kind of disrespectful at the end of the day. But they’re on top right now so you can’t really say nothing right now. We just gotta go out there, between the lines, go out there and hit him and let him know where he stands.”

That’s the rub — JuJu can do whatever he wants while his team is winning. It is disrespectful and has little upside because opponents can use it as motivation.

Maybe that’s the sort of push the Bengals need to get a primetime win this week and finally surpass last year’s two-win total. But it’s on players like Bell to keep the Steelers offense in check and assist their downtrodden offense if they’re to pull off the massive upset.
