Von Miller will be playing with a heavy heart on Monday night after his former Broncos teammate and friend Demaryius Thomas tragically passed away last week. Thomas was only 33 years old and one of the most beloved players in the NFL during his time in the league.
When Miller takes the field against the Cardinals, he’ll do so while honoring Thomas. Miller shared a photo of his helmet before the game and he’ll be wearing a No. 88 sticker on the back to remember his former teammate.
Thomas and Miller spent nine years together with the Broncos, winning Super Bowl 50 with Denver. Miller became friends with Thomas off the field, too, which makes this loss even tougher for the Rams pass rusher.
