Vols suffer first decommitment following Jeremy Pruitt’s departure

Tennessee Vols’ football recruiting news.

The University of Tennessee parted ways with head coach Jeremy Pruitt on Monday.

Pruitt was 16-19 (10-16 SEC) in three seasons at Tennessee. He won the 2020 TaxSlayer Gator Bowl against Indiana.

Tennessee finished the 2019 season with six consecutive victories and won the first two contests of a 10-game SEC-only campaign in 2020.

Following Pruitt’s departure, Jordan Mosley decommitted from Tennessee.

Mosley was committed to the Vols’ 2021 recruiting class.

The 6-foot, 190-pound wide receiver is from McGill–Toolen Catholic High School in Mobile, Alabama.

He committed to the Vols on June 22, 2019.
