No. 8 Tennessee (11-1) defeated Bowling Green (2-7), 16-6 in seven innings, on Sunday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

Tennessee completed a series sweep against the Falcons. The Vols won the series opener, 11-1 in eight innings, on Friday, while winning game No. 2, 12-1 in seven innings on Saturday.

Kirby Connell (1-0) earned his first win of the season for Tennessee on Sunday. He pitched one inning in relief and recorded two strikeouts against three batters.

Dylan Dreiling hit the Vols’ only home run in the contest. Tennessee totaled 17 hits to Bowling Green’s six.

Tennessee will next play Kansas State on Tuesday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m. EST and can be watched on SEC Network+.
