Vols No. 1 in USA TODAY Sports baseball coaches poll for tenth straight week

Tennessee (53-7, 25-5 SEC) concluded Southeastern Conference Tournament play Sunday in Hoover, Alabama.

Tennessee defeated Florida, 8-5, at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in the SEC Tournament championship game.

The Vols won the SEC regular season and tournament championship in 2022.

Following the SEC Tournament, the latest USA TODAY Sports baseball coaches poll was released Monday.

The Vols are ranked No. 1 for the tenth consecutive week.

Tennessee is the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and will host the Knoxville regional at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

Alabama State, Campbell and Georgia Tech will also play in the Knoxville regional.

The winner of the Knoxville regional will play the winner of the Statesboro Regional in super regional play. Georgia Southern, Notre Dame, Texas Tech and UNC Greensboro will compete in the Statesboro regional.
