Vols make top-12 for All-American cornerback Marcelles Williams

Tennessee is one of 12 schools for four-star cornerback Marcelles Williams.

Four-star cornerback Marcelles Williams announced his top-12 schools on Sunday.

Tennessee, USC, Ohio State, Louisville, LSU, Colorado, Washington, Alabama, UCLA, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Miami are Williams’ top-12 schools.

The 6-foot, 175-pound cornerback is from St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California.

Williams is the No. 75 overall prospect in the class of 2024. He ranks as the No. 6 cornerback and No. 9 player in the state of California, according to the On3 Sports industry rankings.

He earned first-team MaxPreps High School Junior All-American honors last season. Williams finished his junior season with 46 total tackles, two interceptions and four pass breakups.

Williams recorded two interceptions in the CIF Open Division state championship game for the Braves. He totaled 42 tackles and seven pass breakups as a sophomore.
