The Vols defeated Tennessee Tech, 10-8, in front 1,735 at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

No. 4 Tennessee (38-11, 17-7 SEC) won its midweek game Tuesday ahead of hosting No. 1 Arkansas Friday-Sunday.

Tennessee totaled 16 hits against the Golden Eagles. Jordan Beck led the Vols with three hits, while Liam Spence, Jake Rucker, Evan Russell and Jackson Greer each recorded two hits.

Zander Sechrist (2-0) pitched one inning and earned the win for Tennessee. He struck out one batter.

Tennessee returns to action Friday against the No. 1 Razorbacks. First pitch is slated for 6:30 p.m. EDT at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Tennessee announced stadium capacity will 100 percent for the weekend series.
