Tennessee’s men’s basketball team finally got its offense clicking on all cylinders Friday night and the result was a 103-49 victory over Tennessee Tech.
Tennessee (4-0) had six players post double figures in the scoring column against the Golden Eagles (0-8) at Thompson-Boling Arena.
Freshman guard Jaden Springer had a breakout game. The IMG Academy graduate scored 21 points, making 8-of-10 shots from the floor. He also had six rebounds, six assists and scored 17 of his points before halftime.

Josiah-Jordan James and Victor Bailey Jr. each finished with 15 points, while John Fulkerson and Keon Johnson scored 13 points and Yves Pons chipped in with 10.
James and Fulkerson also had six rebounds apiece.
The Vols led 49-22 at halftime and coasted to victory. The Big Orange had 28 assists and made 42 field goals in the contest.
UT hosts Saint Joseph’s Monday at Thompson-Boling Arena.
Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m. EST.
