Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel met with media on Thursday.
He discussed the Vols’ preparation ahead of hosting Texas A&M on Saturday.
“Practice has been really good,” Heupel said. “They have been locked in. They are excited about this one. They understand the type of opponent that we’re playing. Preparation has been really good. For us, the timing of the bye week, I think came at the right time for us, where we were at. It’s been good.”
Kickoff between the Vols and Aggies is slated for 3:30 p.m. EDT. CBS will televise the Southeastern Conference matchup at Neyland Stadium.
