Tennessee offered a scholarship to 2026 offensive tackle prospect Ja’Vaughn Hargett.
“After a great conversation with Glen Elarbee, I am grateful and blessed to receive my first D1 offer from the University of Tennessee,” Hargett said.
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound offensive tackle prospect is from Southern High School in Durham, North Carolina.
There are not recruiting rankings currently for Hargett from Rivals, 247Sports, On3 or ESPN.
Tennessee is the first school to offer Hargett.
Hargett has played 24 games in high school, including 13 contests as a freshman and 11 as a sophomore. He has recorded 54 pancake blocks, according to MaxPreps.
Tennessee does not have a commitment for its 2026 recruiting class.
