After some worrisome weeks for Kentucky football fans, it looks like assistant coach Vince Morrow will be staying with the team.
Kentucky football is in the middle of a complete overhaul of the roster. After a disappointing 4 – 8 season, a large number of players opted to transfer out of the program. Coach Mark Stoops then had to go into the transfer portal to rebuild the roster.
During the process, the North Carolina Tarheels hired Super Bowl winning coach Bill Belichick to take over their program. One of the first things he did was reach out to Morrow.

Now, according to FootballScoop, who reported the initial offer, Marrow has decided to stay with the Wildcats and Stoops. He has been with the team since 2013.
Marrow is a key recruiter for Kentucky, and coaches tight ends as well. He’s a very important member of the staff, and would have been a huge loss. Fans, along with the players and Coach Stoops, will be glad to hear he’s sticking around.
