Vikings WR Adam Thielen downgraded to out in Lions game

The Vikings are without WR Adam Thielen for the rest of the game.

The Vikings did themselves no favors by trailing at halftime 20-6 in their Week 13 game against the Lions. If Minnesota wants to come back, it will need help from its wideout depth.

Adam Thielen has been downgraded to out in the Week 13 game, per Vikings Communications. Thielen suffered an injury in the first quarter of the game. He was originally ruled questionable with an ankle injury.

Thielen has 686 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns this year. While Jefferson is the Vikings’ leading receiver this year, the two-headed monster at wide receiver is what makes this Minnesota offense work. K.J. Osborn, Dede Westbrook and others will have to step up.

Also, the Vikings saw Dalvin Tomlinson head off with an injury. There are no official status updates for Tomlinson at the time this article was published.

Minnesota currently sits at 5-6. Detroit is 0-10-1 at the moment.
