Minnesota has dealt with plenty of injuries these last couple weeks.
Both Irv Smith Jr. and Ezra Cleveland have been out. However, Brett Jones has done well as a replacement at right guard.
Smith Jr.’s replacement was Tyler Conklin, who had just one catch for five yards. Kyle Rudolph’s receiving production saw a slight uptick from previous weeks. Rudolph had 68 receiving yards, which was his highest total all season.
Other players have stepped up, sure, but it would help the team greatly to have Smith Jr. and Cleveland back. Looking at the injury report closer to the game will be a good indication of the personnel the Vikings can use against the Jaguars.
