Vikings trade No. 155 pick to the Bears

Another trade! Minnesota gave Chicago the No. 155 overall pick for the Bears’ fourth-round pick in 2021.

Minnesota has now traded picks three times in the NFL Draft.

With the third trade-back, the Vikings gave pick No. 155 to the Bears in exchange for a 2021 fourth-rounder.

This trade makes sense to me. The Vikings have already drafted plenty of talent in this current draft, and the team still has plenty of opportunities to do so. Trading away a 2020 pick for a future draft choice is a nice decision that will hopefully help the team long term.

Minnesota traded the No. 25 pick to the 49ers in exchange for the 31st, 117th and 176th picks. The Vikings also traded the 105th pick to the Saints for 130th, 169th, 203rd and the 244th picks.

Minnesota has already drafted LSU wide receiver Justin Jefferson and TCU cornerback Jeff Gladney in the first round. Then, the team picked Boise State tackle Ezra Cleveland.

The Vikings followed that up by taking Mississippi State corner Cameron Dantzler, Baylor defensive tackle James Lynch, and Oregon linebacker Troy Dye. Those picks will help the team add starting-caliber talent, in addition to important reserves for 2020.
