Vikings trade 119th overall pick to Kansas City

The Minnesota Vikings have traded back with their first pick on day three and pick up a 2024 fifth-round pick.

The Minnesota Vikings entered day three with five selections on day three with their first one being at 119th overall. They Vikings have traded that pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for the 134th overall pick at the end of round four and a fifth round pick in 2024.

That move is about acquiring more picks next year to help recoup some of the selections traded for veteran players. The 2023 class isn’t great and moving down 15 spots in round four isn’t much in this class. A 2024 fifth round pick is nice value for the Vikings.
