Minnesota reportedly traded away Stefon Diggs to the Bills, and Fantasy Pros’ Kyle Yates thinks Justin Jefferson could be his replacement.
The Vikings drafted Jefferson, in addition to Hawkeyes defensive end A.J. Epenesa, in a recent mock draft done by Fantasy Pros. Here is what they said about the Jefferson pick:
“Jefferson’s not the type of route-runner that Diggs is, but he’s the next tier down. Jefferson’s a separation artist and would fit this Vikings offense perfectly.”
This pick would make sense. Tajae Sharpe and Bisi Johnson could vie for the third-best wide receiver spot, and Jefferson could come in and be a complement to Adam Thielen right away.
Epenesa would also be a solid choice. Here is what Fantasy Pros said about that pick:
“They need to add a pass rush presence on the edge opposite of Danielle Hunter. Griffen and A.J. Epenesa are eerily similar in size and Epenesa might even possess more raw power to his game.”
It will be interesting to see what the Vikings do with their two first-round picks.
