Vikings S Anthony Harris ranks 12th in PFF top-101 player rankings

Harris is a free agent this offseason.

What a great season it was for Vikings safety Anthony Harris.

In his first year as a full-time starter, Harris was the best player on the Vikings, at least according to the folks at Pro Football Focus.

Per PFF, Harris ranked as the 12th-best player in the entire NFL.

Here’s what PFF wrote about Harris:

Anthony Harris is a player who has always performed well when on the field, but this was his first opportunity to prove he could still do it with a full workload as a starter alongside Harrison Smith. Harris ended the year with an overall PFF grade of 91.1, the best mark of any safety this season. He led the league in interceptions, added five more pass breakups and ultimately improved his overall grade for the second consecutive season. He was one of the best players in football this year and now looks to free agency in the hope that he can be rewarded for it.

The Vikings have a huge decision to make this offseason with Harris set to be an unrestricted free agent. At age 28, his next contract could very likely be his last, so he’ll be looking to cash in.
