The Minnesota Vikings announced Wednesday that it placed left tackle Riley Reiff on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

The Minnesota Vikings announced Wednesday that it placed left tackle Riley Reiff on the reserve/COVID-19 list. This doesn’t necessarily mean that Reiff has the virus; he may have just been exposed to it.

Reiff’s potential absence from the Week 17 game would mean that the Vikings would be without one of their better pass blockers.

Reiff has been Minnesota’s starting left tackle since 2017. He hasn’t always been stellar for the Vikings, but this year, he has played very well. His PFF overall grade is 72.2. He has just one sack allowed and one penalty, per PFF.

The Vikings also announced today that Dalvin Cook’s father, James Cook, has died. He was 46. Cook returned home to Miami and will not be available in Week 17.
