Vikings open as 4.5-point favorites over Panthers

Do you think the Minnesota Vikings will beat the Carolina Panthers?

Minnesota pulled off a surprising three-game winning streak this year, only to diminish its playoff chances with a defeat to a lesser team in Week 11.

Despite being favored in the Week 11 matchup, the Vikings lost to the Cowboys, 31-28. Now, Minnesota is the favorite again in Week 12. We’ll see if this team can get its season back on track against the Panthers.

The Vikings are 4.5-point favorites at home against the Panthers, according to BetMGM.

Similar to Dallas, Carolina is better than its record suggests. At 4-7, the Panthers have proven to be a capable team when Teddy Bridgewater and Christian McCaffrey are both healthy. There’s no telling whether that will be the case Sunday against Minnesota, though.

The Vikings winning this game would certainly help their playoff chances. The team plays the Jaguars the week after, so two wins in a row could be in sight if Minnesota beats Carolina. Unfortunately, the Vikings have proven that even while favorites, they can still manage to lose a game.
