Vikings Justin Jefferson snubbed from PFF’s list of top 10 offensive rookies

Pro Football Focus made a list of the top 10 Offensive Rookie of the Year candidates, and Justin Jefferson wasn’t on it.

Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson has a chance to fill Stefon Diggs’ old position on the team, and earn a lot of playing time in his rookie season.

However, Pro Football Focus ranked Offensive Rookie of the Year candidates for the 2020 NFL season, and left Jefferson off the list.

The outlet put five wide receivers on the list that were not Jefferson: The Raiders’ Henry Ruggs III, the Jaguars’ Laviska Shenault Jr., the Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb, Broncos’ Jerry Jeudy and the 49ers’ Brandon Aiyuk.

Jefferson was the fourth wide receiver taken in his draft class, going to the Vikings at No. 22. Ruggs III, Jeudy, Lamb and the Eagles Jalen Reagor were all taken before him.

I think Jefferson will at least be in the conversation for offensive rookie, so long as he stays healthy and doesn’t lose out on the wide receiver two spot. Jefferson totaled 111 receptions for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns in his final collegiate season.
