Vikings injury report: Harrison Smith improves

The injury report improved on Thursday

The Minnesota Vikings’ initial injury report was one of the lightest we had seen in some time. On Thursday, it got even better with safety Harrison Smith improving from limited to full.

Left tackle Christian Darrisaw not practicing in any capacity on Thursday essentially seals his fate for Sunday’s game. With two concussions in eight days, it makes sense for the Vikings to play it really safe.

Tight end Ben Ellefson not practicing isn’t much of a surprise. He didn’t practice on Wednesday and was only activated because his practice era was expiring.

The improvement from Smith is a good sign as there wasn’t much worry about him to begin with.

Both Dalvin Tomlinson and Akayleb Evans are both on track to play on Sunday, which will be a huge boost to the Vikings’ defense.
