No matter what happens in Week 17, the Minnesota Vikings will be playing on the road in the 2019 NFL playoffs.
That doesn’t bode well for them considering their last road win in the playoffs came back on Jan. 16, 2005 against the Packers.
The Vikings won 31-17 behind four touchdown passes from Daunte Culpepper and two receiving touchdowns from Randy Moss.
The next week, the Vikings lost 27-14 against the Eagles in Philadelphia.
In the opening round in 2019, the Vikings will either play at Seattle, San Francisco, New Orleans or Green Bay.
Certainly no easy tasks there.
But if the Vikings do travel to Green Bay, they could repeat some history. During the 2004 season, Minnesota was also 0-2 against the Packers in the regular season.
