Saturday night’s game between the 49ers and Rams in Santa Clara is one of those games.
Vikings fans will be cheering for the 49ers considering the Vikings clinch a playoff spot if the Rams lose. The Vikings can also clinch with a win over the Packers on Monday Night Football.
However, if the Rams win and beat the Cardinals next week (a game in which LA will be the favorites), and the Vikings fall to the Packers and the Bears (a team in which they’ve struggled against), the Rams will be in and the Vikings will be out.
FiveThirtyEight gives the Rams just a 34 percent percent to win.
