Vikings draft WR John Hightower in 4th round of mock draft

Last year with Boise State, Hightower finished with 51 catches for 943 yards and eight touchdowns.

It’s no secret that the Vikings need some depth at wide receiver.

They will address that in free agency or the upcoming draft to have someone other than Adam Thielen or Stefon Diggs at the receiver spot to throw to.

No disrespect to Bisi Johnson or Chad Beebe.

Our friend Luke Easterling put out a four-round mock draft earlier this week and has the Vikings selecting Boise State wide receiver John Hightower with their fourth-round pick.

Last year with Boise State, Hightower finished with 51 catches for 943 yards and eight touchdowns. Hightower was named First-Team Mountain West as both a wide receiver and kick returner. Hightower’s ability to return kicks is a plus considering that’s something the Vikings also need.

Hightower is listed at 6’3, 175 pounds, so he has decent size for the position. We’ll get a better idea on where he could fall after the NFL Combine in Indianapolis.
