It’s no secret that the Vikings are in the market for offensive line help moving forward.
In his latest mock draft over at Pro Football Focus, Michael Renner has the Vikings drafting Virginia Tech tackle Christian Darrisaw with their 14th pick.
Here’s what Renner wrote about the pick:
It’s unclear what the plan is with tackle-turned-guard Ezra Cleveland going forward, but adding offensive tackles is never a bad thing. Darrisaw dominated a season ago, earning the highest grade in the Power 5.
The Vikings cut ties with starting left tackle Riley Reiff due to cap issues this offseason, and there still isn’t a clear plan of what the team will do on the offensive line. This has been a weakness of Rick Spielman’s over the years. You’d think that drafting an offensive lineman early in the draft has to be a priority for Minnesota.
