One day after releasing him from the practice squad, the Minnesota Vikings announced they have signed running back Myles Gaskin to the practice squad.
This is a move that was easy to see coming. The Vikings have made many procedural moves with Gaskin during his short time with the franchise.
Gaskin provides veteran depth in the backfield while Kene Nwangwu is still on injured reserve through at least this week against the Carolina Panthers.
During his career, Gaskin has 361 rushes for 1,355 yards (3.8 yards per carry) and seven touchdowns, along with 101 catches on 128 targets for 701 yards (6.9 yards per catch) and six touchdowns.
