Although he only made one appearance in 2022, former UFC welterweight title challenger and BMF champion [autotag]Jorge Masvidal[/autotag] will look to make a big return next year.
Mike Brown, Masvidal’s coach and one of the leading men at American Top Team, recently told MMA Junkie he would like to see his fighter return for big pay-per-view bouts against one of two men: Former two-division champion [autotag]Conor McGregor[/autotag] or current welterweight champ [autotag]Leon Edwards[/autotag].
While either of these fights would surely bring big numbers to the box office, which of these two names makes the most sense for Masvidal? Are either of these opponents even viable options in the current landscape?
Our “Spinning Back Clique” panel of Danny Segura, Farah Hannoun and Brian “Goze” Garcia give their thoughts with host “Gorgeous” George Garcia. You can watch their discussion in the video above and check out this week’s full episode below.
“Spinning Back Clique” is released each Monday LIVE on MMA Junkie’s YouTube channel.
