[autotag]Aljamain Sterling[/autotag] got some wrestling rounds in with a bantamweight great ahead of UFC 288.
Bantamweight champion Sterling (22-3 MMA, 14-3 UFC) is expected to defend his title against [autotag]Henry Cejudo[/autotag] (16-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) on May 6, and he got the opportunity to work with former champion [autotag]Dominick Cruz[/autotag] at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas.
Check out some of their training below, courtesy of Sterling’s YouTube channel.
Cruz is Cejudo’s most recent opponent. The pair squared off in a title fight in May 2020, when Cejudo knocked out Cruz in Round 2 to retain his bantamweight title at UFC 249. Cejudo retired after the fight and will be returning from a three-year layoff when he looks to reclaim his belt against Sterling.
