INGLEWOOD, Calif. – Two members of the same corner were caught on camera arguing with each other at Bellator 290, leading to a tense moment that required security to separate them.
The incident happened between two men in [autotag]Ali Isaev[/autotag]’s corner during his heavyweight bout with Steve Mowry on Saturday night at Kia Forum. The corner camera video showed one man stand up to the other while a third man tried to play peacemaker. At that moment, an apparent California State Athletic Commission official stepped between them to deescalate the situation.

Afterward, two uniformed Inglewood police officers were called to the immediate area, although they didn’t intervene. After the third and final round between Isaev and Mowry ended, one of the cornermen stepped in the cage while the other remained outside. They walked off backstage without incident after the result was announced.
Isaev (9-0-1 MMA, 0-0-1 BMMA) and Mowry (10-0-1 MMA, 6-0-1 BMMA) fought to a unanimous draw.
