[autotag]Paulo Costa[/autotag] went through many weight revisions ahead of UFC Fight Night 196, but ultimately hit the final contracted number ahead of his fight with Marvin Vettori.
Fight week began with Costa (13-1 MMA, 5-1 UFC) vs. Vettori (17-5-1 MMA, 7-3-1 UFC) scheduled as a middleweight bout. It was then moved to a 195-pound catchweight due to Costa’s poor weight management, then just hours prior to weigh-ins, was changed again to light heavyweight.
After much drama, Costa stepped on the scale at Friday morning’s official UFC Fight Night 196 weigh-ins and hit the correct mark.
