Canelo Alvarez and Billy Joe Saunders today (Wednesday) met for the first time during fight week.
They are set to fight for three pieces of the super middleweight championship Saturday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where eased COVID-19 restrictions could allow for a crowd of about 60,000.
The meeting was peaceful but strange, as you could see in the video below. Of course, it was only the start to the week’s interaction. The final press conference is at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT tomorrow (Thursday) and the weigh-in is at 3 p.m. ET / noon PT on Friday.
The main fight card begins at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. The show will be live on DAZN (simply download the app) and also available via traditional pay-per-view in the U.S. Check your cable or satellite provider.
This DAZN subscription package is $69.99 and includes unlimited access to stream DAZN all summer long.
