Now Matt Sayles isn’t the only one who’s fallen victim to [autotag]Bryce Mitchell[/autotag]’s epic twister submission.

Comedian Theo Von found himself in Mitchell’s clutches earlier this week. A guest on Von’s “This Past Weekend” podcast, Mitchell (12-0 MMA, 3-0 UFC) demonstrated the maneuver on the comedian.

“This is not a sexual thing,” Mitchell said, as he wrapped Von up on the ground. “… Don’t make it into something sexual. Don’t make eye contact.”

On the floor of the studio, Mitchell walked Von through the process of securing a twister. The Arkansas-based featherweight displayed how a gentle stretch can quickly escalate into a brutal crank. “I don’t want that,” Von said, understandably.

At UFC on ESPN 7 in early December, Mitchell became only the second fighter in UFC history to pull off the submission. The only other man to do it? “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung, who TKO’d Frankie Edgar on Saturday at UFC on ESPN+ 23 in Busan, South Korea.
