[autotag]Angela Hill[/autotag]’s latest social media content is a piece of art.
The UFC strawweight contender made a tutorial video breaking down and showing viewers at home how they, too, can replicate ESPN’s sports analyst Stephen A. Smith’s terrible boxing technique.
The video comes off the heels of Smith’s comments regarding not enjoying watching women compete in combat sports, especially the UFC.
“When I think about pugilistic sports, I don’t like seeing women involved in that at all,” Smith said on an episode of Larry Wilmore’s “Black on the Air” podcast. I just don’t like it. I wouldn’t promote legislating laws to prohibit them from doing so, but I don’t want to see women punching each other in the face. I don’t want to see women fighting in the octagon and stuff like that, but that’s just me.”

Smith’s comments were controversial and were not taken well in the MMA community.
Women in MMA have proven to have incredible level of technique, have headlined some of the biggest shows in combat sports, and have given fans some of the greatest fights in the history of the sport. Just 11 months ago featured the incredible UFC strawweight title fight between Zhang Weili and Joanna Jedrzejczyk, which was named MMA Junkie’s 2020 Fight of the Year.
Below is Hill’s hilarious tutorial video mocking Smith’s technique:
Hey guys, lots of people have been asking me to break down @stephenasmith’s unorthodox boxing technique so I got coach Adam to really sit down and explain the basics of Smith Style. Give it a try! pic.twitter.com/l9G6bvZyXl

The Blue Corner is MMA Junkie’s blog space. We don’t take it overly serious, and neither should you. If you come complaining to us that something you read here is not hard-hitting news, expect to have the previous sentence repeated in ALL CAPS.
