The top lightweights are talking a lot but who will actually fight whom seems far from settled.
Devin Haney is a member of that exclusive 135-pound group, which also includes Teofimo Lopez Jr., Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia. All of them are young and undefeated, which has generated a great deal of excitement in the division.
Haney, who holds a secondary title, hopes to lure one of his rivals into the ring but isn’t optimistic that it will happen soon.
“These guys clearly don’t want to fight me,” he said in this episode of the Ak & Barak Show, with DAZN commentators Akin Reyes and Barak Bess.
