Rookie Victor Wembanyama is already one of the most talented players in the league. Defensively, he may be the most impressive player in the NBA already, and he’s only 20 years old. If he can continue to develop as rapidly as he has throughout the course of his rookie season, the league could be in trouble.
Despite Wembanyama’s clear talent, the Spurs have been one of the worst teams in the NBA this season. They’re young, and for as great as Wembanyama is, they need to learn to play together. However, there are already some people questioning whether or not Wembanyama could ask out of San Antonio because the team is struggling.

Not only has Wembanyama expressed his fondness for San Antonio time and time again, but he’s only in his rookie season. The Spurs have plenty of time to put a title team around him.
