When it comes to San Antonio Spurs star rookie Victor Wembanyama, quite a lot of things are not big enough for his 7-foot-4 body. So with that in mind, fans of the Boston Celtics should take a very small (pun intended) complaint from the French big man when Wemby visited their home arena of TD Garden for the first time this week.
In fact, the Spurs forward had plenty of good things to say about the arena and its iconic court when speaking to the media postgame. “The floor is special,” said Wemby of the Celtics’ famous parquet court via Boston dot Com’s Khari Thompson.
“It didn’t bother me, but it is special,” he added. “It’s just beautiful, and the locker room is beautiful.”

Then came the criticism. “The weight room is way too small, but the locker room is nice,” shared Wembanyama.
Someone ought to tell the man how the Celtics allegedly used to mess with visiting teams by turning off the hot water and other evil shenanigans!
