As training camp nears its close and the NBA season inches closer, the San Antonio Spurs just wrapped up their inaugural Silver and Black Open Scrimmage. And as has been the case for the rest of the summer, Victor Wembanyama was the center of attention, as fans are super excited to see him play.

Fans are so excited that they packed the house for the scrimmage. There were 13,200 fans in attendance to watch the Spurs scrimmage. There is more excitement for this Spurs season than there has been in a long time. Wembanyama is ready to take over as the Spurs’ face of the franchise, and he was hyped to see fans show support.

“It really warmed my heart to see that every time a player of our team stepped on the court they almost had a standing ovation,” Wembanyama said. “It was all I expected, but it still feels good.”

The crowd in attendance was one of the biggest in the history of the event, and it’s not hard to see why. Wembanyama is a star, and he wants to make sure Spurs fans get their money’s worth.

“It just makes me want to give everything these people ask for, and everything they ask is just wins,” Wembanyama said. “It just makes me want to give 100 percent on the court for the franchise and the fan base.”

Wembanyama and the Spurs are ready to roll, and Spurs fans are ready to support them.
