VFLs Jabari Davis, Chris Treece supplied cigars for Tennessee after Alabama win

VFLs Jabari Davis and Chris Treece supplied victory cigars for Tennessee after Alabama win.

Tennessee ended its 15-game losing streak to Alabama Saturday at Neyland Stadium.

The Vols defeated Alabama, 52-49.

Tennessee (6-0, 3-0 SEC) is ranked No. 4 in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll that was released Sunday.

Former Vols Jabari Davis and Chris Treece supplied cigars for Tennessee’s postgame celebration Saturday. It is a tradition for the winner of the Tennessee-Alabama game to smoke cigars.

Davis discussed supplying 120 VFL Champion Cigars to Tennessee following the game and fans also buying cigars in preparation for beating Alabama.

“After the LSU game, we had over 50 orders for people prepping and getting ready for this weekend,” Davis told Vols Wire. “It benefits our Legends of Tennessee, an organization ran by former Vols that travel all over the community doing football camps, charity work, youth mental health summits and life symposiums for kids.

“We also have current players working with us as well, making an impact in these communities. Everything that we do is a fundraiser for our organization. We have our own cigar company, but we do fundraisers being a nonprofit organization. We wanted to do something a little different this football season and do a decorated Tennessee cigar. That is the reason we put the VFL name on it with the checkerboard bands.”
